Country coordinator

Paulino Damiano

Paulino has been working for Trees for the Future and Agroforestry Organization as Country Coordinator. He has worked with Community Based Organizations and Self-help Groups within the country promoting agroforestry. Besides that, he has worked with Community groups to restore degraded forest lands. Paulino  has great wealth of knowledge  and background in ; agroforestry technologies ,  community development, livelihoods improvement and  project mapping . He has a diploma in International Environmental Law from United Nations Institute for Training and Research.


Field Technicians

Thereza Nzila

Thereza joined Trees for the Future and Agroforestry in 2015 as field technician. She has been working in Makueni County implementing agroforestry technologies, food forest and water harvesting techniques. Thereza has a diploma in forestry from Kenya Forest Service Training Institute Londiani.



Samuel Njuguna

Samuel joined Trees for the Future and Agroforestry in 2016. He has been working with farmers in Githunguri to promote fodder trees for livestock development. Samuel was awarded “Tree Ambassador” in 2007 by the Total Eco Challenge. Samuel has been working with community members in tree planting activities for the last 30 years.
